Return Policy
This policy sets out how returns and refunds work for door knockers and entry accents purchased from us in New Zealand. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) are not affected. Where goods fail to meet a guarantee under the CGA (e.g. acceptable quality, fit for purpose), you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, or refund in addition to this voluntary return policy.
Return Period
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving the item. The item must be sent back to us within a further 14 days unless we agree to a different timeframe in writing.
Conditions for Return
Items may be returned only if they are unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. They must not show signs of wear, installation, or damage caused by you. Custom or made-to-order pieces may be non-returnable; we will confirm at the time of order.
Cost of Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to our error (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We recommend using a tracked service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit until they reach us.
Return Process
Contact us via the Contact page to request a return. We will confirm eligibility and send you instructions for packing and posting. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and process it in line with this policy.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom or personalised items, and items that have been installed or used, are generally non-returnable. Items that are not in resalable condition may be rejected. We will inform you if your item does not qualify for return.
General Legal Requirements
This policy is provided in accordance with New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Your statutory rights under those Acts are not excluded or limited by this policy. For goods that do not comply with a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to reject the goods and claim a refund, or to have the goods repaired or replaced, as set out in the CGA.
Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us. Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible; you may return the item under this return policy instead.
Refund Procedure
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of our receiving the returned item and confirming it meets the return conditions. Refunds will be made to the original payment method. Original delivery charges may not be refunded unless the return is due to our error. We will notify you by email when the refund has been processed.
