Craftsmanship

Forging Process

Each knocker begins as a raw casting or forged blank. Our craftspeople shape the metal using traditional techniques: hammering, filing, and finishing by hand so every curve and detail meets the design.

Quality control runs through each stage. Weight, balance, and sound are checked before the piece is patinated and packed.

Sketches and Concepts

Before metal meets anvil, ideas are drawn on paper. Sketches explore proportion, motif, and how the knocker will sit on the door.

These drawings guide the workshop and ensure the final product stays true to the original vision.

Metal Textures

Brass, bronze, and iron each take a different finish. We offer polished, satin, and aged patinas so your knocker fits the character of your entrance.
